What can a pear body shape and other body shapes wear? So, you've gone shopping and felt as though nothing fitted your body and certainly didn't flatter you... you never thought shopping could be such a stressful activity.

Why buy clothes that don't enhance your personality and just follow baseless trends?!

I say a perfect fit is more important than designer clothing that doesn't flatter. By picking clothing that gives you great form and teaming it with accessories you will have found the secret.

But before we delve deeper into fashion tips we need to consider the four body shapes of women.

Pear Body Shape: Women with this body shape will have a narrow upper body and heavier bottom and thighs.

Apple Body Shape: Women with this body shape will have a broad upper body and narrow bottom. Weight gain usually sits in the middle area.

Boyish/Athletic Shape: Women with this body shape will have a narrow figure overall. Weight gain is evenly distributed.

Hourglass Body Shape: Women with this body shape will have a narrow waist but be fuller in the upper and lower body. The hour glass shape is like a dream come true!


Now the skill is in enhancing the positive points of these body shapes.

Fashion Tips for the four female Body Shapes:

Dresses:
Gorgeously, flowing short and fitting dresses, with florals and animal prints... beautiful dresses have always been a winner.

Pear Body Shape: Pear shaped women should steer clear of shift dresses that cling to the body. Choose dresses that highlight the upper torso and that draw attention away from the hips and thighs.

Apple Body Shape: Apple Body Shaped women should wear dresses that have complimenting necklines that draw attention away from the waistline. Avoid clingy materials for the upper torso.

Boyish/Athletic Body Shapes can wear dresses with ruffles and frills - typical feminine dresses that even increase the volume and body shape.

Hourglass Body Shape: Any style of dress will suit the hourglass figure - fitting or flowing dresses.
